So lets get started with Erin and Mark’s wedding. Erin = Beautiful.  Mark = Beautiful. Wedding = Beautiful.  All of that made for a perfect day.  So lets start with some detail shots.

Bling

Out of all of the things I loved about Erin and Mark’s wedding, I think I loved Erin’s dress the most.  It suited her and was beautiful.

In this picture, maid of honor Holly quickly closes the curtains while Erin’s sister applies some last minute makeup – after a spotting of the Groom.

The thing I will remember most about Erin’s father? He was always smiling.  In every picture I have of him, he’s all smiles.  He was so happy for his daughter.

We’ve done some sessions up at Scott Hill before but this was our first wedding there. Perfect! Brides to be, if you are looking for a venue, look no further.  I could have shot there all day long.

Lets start with us getting ready.  I just loved this picture of Dee Dee.  She had just finished getting her hair done.  You can just tell the excitement in her eyes!

Dee Dee glowed the entire day.  Josh is a lucky man. Dee Dee was such a pretty bride.

Josh, our groom was so humble.  If I could work with one groom over and over again, it would be Josh. He made sure things got done, but was so chill about everything.

The groomsmen on the other hand, were off the hook   I’m not sure how Josh managed to keep them in line, but he did!

I don’t think you are getting out of it that easily Josh!

The wedding was beautiful. I just love weddings at D&E.  I’ve actually thought of only doing weddings at D&E. That’s how much I love weddings there.

Congratulations Robin and Rob. You two deserve all the happiness in the world. Good luck, and thanks for letting us be a part of your special day.

So here we are, on top of Bickle Knob.  A little bit of a hike, but completely worth it.  I love the amazing people I get to meet and places I get to go doing photography.  A little over cast, but not overly windy.

I love the background we were getting.  Check out the mountains and the sky. The sky wasn’t overly blue or overly washed out.  Kind of makes me miss Pipestem, WV.  Spent a lot of time there during college.

Check them out! Are they perfect or what   We did some more traditional poses with them. I think if they book us for their wedding, we will bring out the fun

Down at the base of the fire tower.  I couldn’t get a bad picture of these two if I tried.

Jessica and Tim are both in their last year of nursing school. There aren’t many fields that I respect more than nursing… I think these two will be awesome in their field.  You can tell they genuinely care about people.

Tim had planned on proposing on July 4th, but was too excited, so he did it on July 3rd. They are planning on getting married on June 24th of next year.

NOW – This week’s sneak peak. I so love meeting couples that are truly in love. That’s the case with Jennifer and Steve – just something about them… Soulmates? Time will tell, but if I had to guess – yeap. They were meant for each other.

We have a lot of pictures to process but thought we would do a sneak peek real quick.  Your pictures turned out wonderful.  The hardest part about posting pictures for a sneak peek is, well, picking out which pictures to show.  We always try to find ones that tease, and give you something to look forward to.

First, the obligatory shot of the shoes.  Kristin was smart and brought some flip-flops along to wear while hiking to various shoots.  More on that later

Like I was saying earlier.. Jarrod was a super guy.  Down to earth, handsome and funny.  He was eager to try any pose we threw at him.

Kristin was just beautiful bride.  She did things right: She enjoyed her wedding day.  She had so much fun – and I’m glad we were there to catch it.

Now I have to tell you: I love outdoor pictures.  It’s so great not to be locked into a studio or a church.  There are so many places at Halliehurst Mansion to take wonderful pictures.   If you are interested in getting married there, let us know… We can hook you up with a great contact (Plug for Michael )

Kristin and Jarrod were so refreshing.  They liked fun and spontaneous pictures… and really… that’s how we roll and where we excel.
